To be certain that it was not a statistical error, this match was organized. Komodo was known and marketed as a superior chess engine in long time control but lost to Stockfish in the space where it rules. If Komodo wins in this shorter time control of 10 minutes base + 5 seconds increment, then maybe the previous match was a fluke, otherwise, the latest Stockfish build is superior to Komodo in any time control conditions.
The match was done in another older AMD computer with 6 GB of physical memory but the same Linux 3.16.4 operating system with WINE and Arena. To make the tournament quicker, similar instances of 6 simultaneous processes were run. The duration of the match was around 8 hours and 44 minutes.
The final result showed that Stockfish 14100708 once again beat Komodo 8 with a score of 54.5-45.5 which is a similar pattern between the latest matches of the 2 grandmonsters.
