Stockfish 14100708 x64 vs. Komodo 8 x64 - One on One - 64 Rounds, 60 Minutes+15 Seconds

To utilize some slack time, I decided to make a match with the latest Stockfish 14100708 against Komodo 8 at a longer time control of 60 minutes base + 15 seconds increment with 64 games limit. This is something I am not fond of because it takes forever to finish one game and have no patience to watch due to other important concerns. The computer used was an AMD 4 core with 8 GB memory running Linux 3.16.2 kernel with WINE and Arena software. Six tournament instances were run in order to finish it at the earliest possible time. The tournament started yesterday, October 7 and took around 30 hours to finish.

The final tally showed Stockfish 14100708 beating Komodo 8 with a score of 34-30 in a relatively close finish. Nothing is so significant because Komodo 8 is an older version which maybe unfair. Let us just watch the finals between the 2 at TCEC if they both survived in the preliminaries with their latest and greatest versions.
